(1) Very Rev. George Waddington, D.D., Dean, and the Chapter of Durham of the Cathedral Church of Christ and Blessed Mary the Virgin, patrons of the chapelry of Croxdale.
(2) Rev. Henry Chaytor, B.A., incumbent of the said chapelry
(3) Rt. Rev. Edward, Bishop of Durham and ordinary of the diocese of Durham
(4) Edward Riddell of Cheeseburn Grange, esq., and Thomas Maynell, the younger, late of the Friarage near York, but now of Kilvington, co. York, esq.
(5) Gerard Salvin of Croxdale, esq.
Copy of enrolled bargain and sale from (1) to (4) with the consent of (2), (3) and (5), [(4) are trustees of the manor of Croxdale and divers messuages and tenements in the townships of Croxdale and Sunderland Bridge under the settlement of 16 September 1834], of the chapel and chapel-yard (2 roods) and parsonage house and garden (20 perches) [plan of both in margin] and bargain and sale from (4) to (1) with the consent of (2), (3) and (5), of a freehold parcel of land in Sunderland Bridge (1 acre, 1 rood) [plan in margin] the western part of which is to contain a chapel and the eastern part a parsonage house.
Consideration: £500 from (5) towards the building of the church and parsonage house
