Catalogue Description
These archives relate to the landed estates of Robert Thompson, rather than his shipbuilding records which are at Tyne and Wear Archives Service. The collection was transferred to Durham County Record Office by TWAS (their reference 1811/287-314) and we have retained their numbering system, replacing 1811 with D/RT. This explains why there are no numbers 1-286.Catalogue Contents
