Copy counterpart lease for 99 years by (1) to (2) of Grindon Estate with 156 acres of land, Silksworth with all the coal mines and seams of coal underneath; together with 6 acres of land called East Nook in Silksworth occupied by John Leighton as tenant.
Consideration: once the worked coal exceeds £3527 the following charges apply: 25s per ten for every ten of round coals; 12s 6d per ten for every ten of small coals worked in Hutton seam; 20s per ten of every ten round coals and 10s per ten of every ten of small coals worked from any other seam worked over the said amount of £3527. Additional charge of 2s 6d per ten for every ten of coals applies from any other coal mine within the described area
