About copies for private study or non-commercial research
When you order copies from us for private study or non-commercial research you must sign a declaration that:
- you will not infringe any copyright in the document(s) copied
- you will not publish a document originally supplied for private study or non-commercial research without the written consent of the County Archivist and the owner of the document
Please remember that publication covers more than books. Using our images in a public broadcast or exhibition, adding our images to another website or posting them on social media counts as publication, and you need to apply for permission.
