Copy of an agreement (dated 20 June 1210) whereby (2) concedes to (1) all tithes of corn of Sumerhuses, 1 toft and croft with all the land and meadow which he holds in the township of Overington, and all tithes of hay of the townships of Overington, Ledwye and Westwyt, and his messuage at Barnard Castle, and (1) concedes to (2) all other lesser tithes, and houses at Gaynesford and the land of Staynton which was formerly in his possession. (2) agrees to maintain the parish church at Gainford and all chapels in the parish.
