Correspondence concerning the campaign for the reinstatement of Holy Trinity C.E. School after its closure in 1940. From 1948 when the decision was taken to re-open the school, the letters relate mainly to the repair work which had to be carried out to meet Local Education specifications. The school was converted into a one form entry infants' school in accordance with regulations laid down by the Ministry of Education under the Education Acts of 1944 and 1946. Most of the letters are written to W.P. Naisbitt or are copies of those written by him in his capacity as Corresponding Manager for the school. Correspondants include J.
