These forms are the originals providing information for the Department of Education and Science and contain statistics for each school (numbers and age range of pupils, numbers of staff, etc.) One year in four has been retained as a sample.
G1 reports give an overall number of attempts, entries and passes at G.C.S.E. for each school
G4 reports give the numbers and percentages of pupils getting various grades at GCSE, by Examination Board
G5 reports list entries or attempts with overall attainment, for example a pupil attempting 8 subjects and achieving 5 A-C's
GA1 reports give, for each school, the numbers of pupils attempting various numbers of 'A' levels and their achievements on these 'A' levels
GP1 reports give summary data for each school in attainment - both at GCSE and 'A' level
GP2 reports give a school-by-school measure of attainment
GP3 reports give a subject-by-subject measure of attainment
GS1 reports give overall performance and entries for GCSE (not broken down by subject, but with a gender breakdown on the same page)
GS2 reports give numbers and percentages of pupils getting grades for each subject
Following the local government reorganisation of 2009, these booklets continue to be produced by the new Durham County Council and can be found at DCC/CAS 4/3/1-3.
