Ref: D/X 1756/3The daughter (born 1892) of Edward Lloyd Pease (1861-1934) and Helen Blanche Pease (1865-1951) (married 1890). She married Reginald J. Mounsey in 1921.
Ref: D/X 1756/7Records relating to Polam Hall School, founded in 1854 in Darlington by the Misses Procter as a school for Quaker girls.
From inscriptions and enclosures this appears to be largely, if not wholly, the collection of Doris Mary Alice Dickinson (nee Sanders) (1891-1986), a Darlington contemporary of Mary Cecilia Pease and an ex-officio committee member (treasurer of the exhibition fund).

Ref: D/X 1756/86/1Editions of the Polam Hall School magazine, printed in Darlington and bound as paperback books. Produced twice a year from 1901 to 1941 then once a year thereafter. Contain photographs of staff, reports from Old Scholars and news from the school, including girls' work. Apparently belonged to Mrs Doris Dickinson

The two photograph albums are from different families but are captioned in the same handwriting.
The second album possibly belonged to Joseph Whitwell Pease and Mary Pease (nee Fox), and passed via Helen Blanche Pease to Mary Cecilia Pease, who married the son of Rachel Ann Fryer, owner of the first album.

A collection of "cartes de visite" - albumen prints of photographic portraits of famous people, mounted on calling cards. Mostly endorsed with the name of the photographers, printed, and the identity of the subject, handwritten.
UK Politicians (Ref: D/X 1756/43/1-13)Ref: D/X 1756/43/1Harrisons and Crosfield was founded in Liverpool in 1844 by Daniel Harrison, Smith Harrison and Joseph Crosfield to trade in tea and coffee. In the 1860s it became one of the largest tea traders in the UK. In 1903 it diversified into operating rubber plantations in the far east acquiring shareholdings in a number of plantation companies. Then in 1948 the company became a major producer of latex at its factory in Petaling. In 1998 it changed its name to Elementis plc.
