Bede Day Centre was run by Durham County Council, located at Galgate, Barnard Castle. It provided a range of non-age specific services for those with a physical disability and/or sensory impairment. Its aim was to help people access a range of services in day centres and, wherever possible, within the wider community. It covered Teesdale. It closed in 2016.
Create was a Durham County Council arts and activities service run by multi-skilled professionals delivering arts, diversionary and creative activities to a wide variety of customers including Bede Day Centre.
