Catalogue Description

Wilfred Mulcahy was born in Sedgefield on 14 November 1903. He lived at 'Wellswood', Villa Real. He attended Consett Technical Institute and graduated from Hatfield College, Durham University in 1924. In 1921, while at university, he was awarded a silver medal for 'Leadership, Athletics and Scholarship'.
Most of his professional life was spent in Hong Kong, becoming Head Teacher of King George V School.
