Records relating to the military service of Anthony Burnhope Goldsmith of Crook. born 6 December 1896, died 6 December 1972.
Enlisted 6 December 1915, 78147 6th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, later transferred, 63711 9th Battalion, King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry; discharged 18 January 1919.
Received the British War Medal and Victory Medal
Worked as an underground colliery fitter, living at Third Street, Consett (1939 Register)
