Catalogue Description
Woodhouse Close Chapel was originally a Methodist Church, which opened in 1961, but was quickly also used as a site for Anglican services and Anglican Sunday Schools. The close local connection between these two denominations led to the local area being designated as a place for ecumenical experiment during the late 1960s.Catalogue Contents
Several registers, both Anglican and Methodist, were stolen from the church in the late 1980s.
