Letter to Mr. Twemlow from the Deputy Regional Information Officer, Ministry of Information, Newcastle enclosing three official labels, 'Ministry of Information' for cars and vans and three copies of a pass to allow the bearer to get into prohibited areas in an emergency. The writer asks that the labels and passes be guarded very carefully and only to be used in the event of a 'blitz'. In case of invasion they are to be destroyed. 23 December 1940

The writer suggests that in the event of a blitz on Tyneside Mr. Twemlow's van should call at the M. I. Office in Newcastle first. 14 April 1941
