12 March 1579/80 (1) Edward, Earl of Lincoln, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, and Christopher Sowft of Westhorseley, Surrey, gentleman (2) William Swayne of London, gentleman, and Edward Swanye his brother Bargain and sale by (1) to (2) of a parcel of land called Springhill at Middleton in Teesdale as alienated by the crown to (1) by letters patent of 11 March 1579/80.
