Catalogue Description

Mr J.L. Long of Willington served as society steward from 1939 until at least 1952. During this time he also occasionally held other roles, including secretary.

It is also likely that he is the same 'Les Long' to whom the personal correspondence in this collection is addressed and who appears in several of the photographs.
