Adults Wellbeing and Health (Ref: DCC/AWH 5/)Durham in Time Project (Ref: DCC/AWH 5/1)

Durham in Time was a project run by the Lifelong Learning section of the Adults, Wellbeing and Health directorate, Durham County Council, between October 2007 and May 2011. One of the main aims of the Project was to preserve local history records by digitising them and making them available for the public via an online searchable database. To achieve that, the Project co-ordinated the work of many local history and community groups, societies and volunteers across County Durham. The project also provided opportunities for many individuals to develop and improve their ICT and heritage related skills.
